The center serves the Oak Cliff community through social, educational, and spiritual programs. This campaign focuses on youth, including new Muslims and young people whose families face financial hardship.
Is the after-school program already running?＋
This campaign will help launch it. The center’s existing work includes weekend Islamic school, youth mentorship three days a week, and the Social Justice Internship.
What will the internships provide?＋
Two young people will receive six months of support for academic and professional growth, Islamic learning, and supervised experience serving their community.
Can I give Zakat toward the campaign?＋
The campaign identifies the two internships as intended for Zakat-eligible new Muslim youth. Please confirm the designation before giving a general campaign donation as Zakat.
